New Floors!

Yes, I'm finally getting some floors tiled in this old house! Bryce just tiled my entryway. He needs to seal it then it will be all done! Next week he's tiling my main bathroom. He has to tear out the the whole sub-floor because it's rotted out from the toilet flooding over. Then the following week is the big job! He will be tearing out all the flooring in my kitchen and laundry room and laying fresh new tile! I'm so excited! He is trying to get it all done before he goes back to work. The entry way looks great! He did a really good job, so I'm excited to get all the rest of it done! I don't know what I'll do without a kitchen and laundry room for a week or two, but ....oh well..! Nick had his consultation with the oral surgeon today. All four of his wisdom teeth are in the bone.....uughh! He gets them out tomorrow at 2:30. As he was filling out the release papers he got all white and light-headed, so I made him put his head between his knees. He was going to pass out, that's how scared he is for the surgery! Lol, he is a funny kid! Well, I better go get my walk in before it gets dark. It's been windy all day and I've been putting it off. I can't let that stop me, I gotta git er done!

  1. Here I am, commenting on your blog. I am your number one fan! LOVE LOVE LOVE that you are getting pretty, new tile and that your son is so good at things like that. I would love to hire him someday. He may be good at it, but does he like it? See you soon auntie! We saw gma gpa and Ben on Sunday and were going to drive up again Sat and take the kids for a ski lesson on Beaver Mountain-- until we found out Joseph has baseball tryouts mid-day. But we will be up there in 2 weeks. I hope we get to go to Bear Lake this summer. I have always regretted not going up that weekend with the fam a few years ago. Guess I was just overwhelmed with my 3 busy little boys and Jeff being gone. Poor Nick. Wisdom teeth is no fun. I had mine out 3 years ago, at age 30! But mine were all grown in. Sorry he's so stressed about it. I hope his recovery is quick. It helps to not talk. My mom was visiting just after I had mine pulled and I had to call for extra pain med, which I never did after giving birth! Wow, what a rambling comment. Hope you see it though! Loves

  2. You need to post pictures of your tile. I would love to see it! How is Nick doing since the surgery? I would react the same way. I don't like doctors or even thinking about surgery. I'm a nervous reck just thinking about having this baby!!
