This is a quiet Easter for us. With Nick in Peru and Alison working, we decided to just chill at home instead of rolling eggs down the Aggie hill. This is a family tradition that both Bret and I have done since we were kids. We dye tons of eggs, meet with my siblings and their families at the top of the hill and have a great time watching the kids young and old chase the eggs down the hill! Of course, if any adult dares to chase an egg, they became a target for all the rest of us! We throw our eggs hard and fast hoping to be the one that is successful in hitting them! Yes it hurts if you get hit, and paybacks are NOT pleasant! :) We all usually end up going home with remnants of easter eggs on us! I'm kind of sad missing out this year, however, the weather is not great and with half my family away, its ok to skip the egg rolling until next year.
