The Day after Christmas we went to Park City and stayed at The Waldorf Astoria Dakota Mountain Lodges in Park City. Wow, what a beautiful place! My family went skiing for two days at the Deer Valley ski resort and had a great time! Since Amber and I couldn't ski, (due to her tonsillectomy), we went shopping one day and then hung out at the lodge and watched our family ski the other day. We sat up on the deck in the sun and watched people. People watching is always tons of fun, and oh my gosh, the little kids on the bunny hill were such a riot! There were all kinds of bright colorful outfits and funky hats everywhere! Never a boring moment! We all ate lunch together that day, and had some fabulous turkey chili with all the "fixins", which includes: green onions, jalapenos, sour cream, salsa, and cheese. Ive never had chili like that before, but it was divine! At night we had a great time thawing out in the hot tub, watching movies and eating good food! What a great way to follow up Christmas!
