Hogwild!

There is a little restaurant in Salt Lake called Hogwild Grill that is absolutely divine!!!!! Last month Ali and I took Benny there for his first time and he loved it! Its a unique little place and is only open Monday through Friday from about  11:00 to 3:00. We have eaten there so often that we have become friends with the owners and really do love them! They even have boxers like us and we love to share dog stories. :) Every single item on the menu is delicious! (Bryce has tried practically everything). Unfortunately they have decided to close up shop and move back to their home state of Montana. We are soooo sad!!!! They are having a farewell party and we are invited, including Helga our dog. They've promised us recipes for a couple of our very favorite sandwiches..but of course they wont taste the same! Its such a fun atmosphere with fantastic food and great people.

Bryce discovered it one day when he was driving past and tried it out.  From that day on he and Ali would meet for lunch every Wednesday when he was hauling rock back and forth from SLC to Logan.  Sometimes I would ride down with him just to eat there. Oh we are going to miss them and their fabulous food! Here is their menu and address. Oh, and by the way, the "Hogwild" sandwich is our very favorite! YUUUUMMMMYYY!! Thanks for great times and great food and we wish you the best Patti, Glen and Jennifer!

My sister and niece gave Amber a baby shower last Saturday. They worked really hard and did a great job! We had a fun time and Amber got wonderful gifts!

Grandma Rigby made some new friends and played barbies for a while. :)
Here come my cute aunties! I love them!
Thanks to our wonderful friends and family for coming and showing support for Amber and Bryce! We love you!

Incubators

These are the incubators my grandbabies are in. The nurses put blankets on top to help keep the light out so as to protect their eyes. The circles on the sides are doors that we put our arms through to cradle the babies in our hands. Inside these incubators its really warm, cozy and quiet. The nurses weigh them each day by picking them up then pushing the weight button, then they lay them back down and the computer in the incubator calculates their weights. They have monitors attached that track their heartbeats per minute, blood oxygen levels and respiration, (breaths per minute). Once in a while they forget to breathe and the monitor beeps and the nurses rush over and massage them a little to get them breathing. They say its normal and they will grow out of it. At first it really scared me, but now Im used to it and dont worry. They are both up to 3 lbs now and the nurse said they are developmentally right where they should be. YAY!!! Im so proud of my little sweethearts already!!!

Babies

My grandbabies are currently in the NICU and will stay there for at least another two months. They are doing great! In fact, they are doing so well for being so tiny and early that one of the NICU nurses called them the "rock stars" of the NICU! :) Just for fun I thought I would show just how small they are.

This is the size of the diapers they wear. Oh my gosh they are so cute!

Bryce did this with his wedding ring the day they were born.
Here is Lydia Michele...

Theyre just chillin in their incubators! Ahhh...I love my darling little grandbabies!

Theyre Here!!

WooHoo! Im a Grandma!!!! Much to our surprise our twins were born Thursday the 24th at 7:36 p.m.( boy) and 7:38 ( girl). The boy was 2 lbs. 14 oz., 15 inches long and the girl was 2 lbs. 08 oz., 14 inches long. They were born 11 weeks early and are tiny little babies, and so so darling! They are in the NICU and we were told most preemies usually stay at least till their actual due date, so it looks like we have a long haul till our babies can come home!

Here is our boy...
And here is our girl... See how cute they are! Oh I love my little grandbabies so much and cant wait till we're able to hold them! We are grateful theyre doing so well. :)

Equipment

The first and my favorite piece of exercise equipment is my bike. Ive already been on a ride this morning yay! :) Oh I love my bike! There is a good foot or two of snow everywhere but on the roads today, however the sun was up and it was warm! Helga and Frenny came with me and we had a nice ride!
This is a kettlebell. I read all about them and they say a person can get quick results all over the body using this simple piece of equipment. Today will be my first time using it and Im pretty sure it wont be an easy workout. I think its a cute little monster!

This is the touchscreen on our new incline trainer. We just hooked up ifit live last night so that we can watch the trails we walk/run each day. As you can see here, it inclines up to 40% and declines to -6%.

Its a great piece of equipment that I both love and hate at the same time! Lol! Its a tough workout!!! Im so grateful for the built in fan that blows air straight into my face and keeps the sweat out of my eyes...well...kind of anyway!

And finally rollerblades, ....yes ... rollerblades.....I havent used them yet though. "For beginners.. as they have solid ankle support and are easy to maneuver".. according to the manufacturer K2. Lol...I can ice skate and roller skate..so I figure I should be able to rollerblade too right? Why not! Hey, I figure that exercise should be fun too! Bret keeps asking if I have a helmet, knee, elbow and wrist pads.......pffft....I dont plan on falling!

So, this is the equipment im using to win the Rigby Biggest Loser Contest. Now, ...if I could just get my buns in gear.... ;)
