Gun Fun!

Today our family went up in the hills above our house for some target shooting. Ive only shot BB guns, so this was my first time shooting a 22 rifle! We had fun making up contests seeing who could hit a certain target the most out of ten shots, or who could hit the most targets selected in one turn...or who could be the first one to hit a particular object..etc. Heres Bryce hitting his target 25 out of 30 times! Yes...Bret is in shorts... (apparently he thinks its summer)....and yes he had to go warm up in the truck a few times! He probably should have listened to his wife and worn jeans.. :)

Even preggie girl was shooting... and shes a pretty darn good shot too!

I noticed the cool frost on this wire and took some photos of it and thought I would frame Amber in one.....

and me..... the winner of "shooting the smallest object at the longest distance"! No more silly little BB guns for me...nope...no way!

Growing!

Heres Amber and my grandbabies! This was actually two weeks ago.... And this is her view.... :)

Shes such a cute preggie girl and I love her so much! The babies are doing great and getting so big! She has about two and a half months left to go. Oh my goodness..... we are all so excited!

Wedding

My nephew Robert and his fiance Christie got married yesterday here at the Wolf Creek Lodge in Eden Utah. Its a beautiful building with gorgeous views! They had a small wedding with close friends and family. It was very nice and everything went smoothly. Here are some of their family and friends chilling out while waiting for the big event.

Games

This is a sampling of what Benny, his friends and alot of other MC kids wear to basketball games! They say they're supporting their team with school spirit! I say theyre nuts...but at least they have fun!

Treasure

Some peoples junk really is other peoples treasure! Bret saved this old safe from disposal that was in a building currently being renovated. He is so excited about his new treasure! He and Bryce worked most of the day Saturday transporting it home. Personally, Im still undecided as to whether or not its 'junk' or 'treasure'.

'Souper' Party!

Instead of having a Christmas party this year our family decided to have a 'souper kick off to the new year' party..and of course served soup! We had a blast playing 'win it in a minute' and volleyball. Im so grateful to have such a close, fun family! It was a great way to kick off the new year!

Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas this year! We all were spoiled! Usually the routine goes as follows: The kids wake us up, Bret says," stay in the hallway while I go check to see if Santa came or not." Then he SLOWLY sets up the camcorder and then finally says its ok to come in the family room. This year however, I got him a bike, so I woke the kids up, and they helped me get his bike in the family room. Then, they woke Bret up and we told him he had to wait in the hallway while we checked to see if Santa had come or not and to set up for pictures! :) After we unwrapped our gifts we went back to bed and waited till Bryce and Amber came over, then started all over again! The best gift of all of however, was talking to my little missonary boy! We put him on speaker phone and talked for about 2 hours! Then, he called later in the evening and we drove in to both sets of grand parents houses so he could talk to them! (Love those cell phones!) Nick is really happy and sounds so good, AND....this is his last Christmas in Peru. Yay!
